Ages 4 and 5
At ages 4 and 5, it’s time for children to take their first confident turns on the slopes! In the beginners’ area, a safe and fun environment, our attentive instructors support children from the Sifflote to Flocon levels, helping them learn through play and progress at their own pace.

We also offer a Ski Lessons & Children’s Club package, combining creative indoor activities, outdoor games and an optional meal for a full day of skiing, fun and adventure with friends.

Is insurance included in the lesson price?
No, insurance is not included in the lesson price, and ESF does not provide insurance cover for its pupils. We recommend checking your personal insurance coverage and, if necessary, taking out ski insurance so that you can enjoy your stay with complete peace of mind.

Will my child need a lift pass?
  • Yes, all children need a lift pass to access the ski lifts. Lift passes are free for children under 5 years old and can be collected from the Morzine lift pass office upon presentation of proof of age.
  • Beginner children start their lessons in the beginners’ area. If a lift pass becomes necessary during the week, the instructor will let you know and advise you on purchasing the appropriate pass from the esf office.
How should I equip my child?
At the Children’s Club and in the Piou Piou beginners’ area, your child will need:
  • Ski equipment (skis and ski boots)
  • A helmet or a warm hat
  • Ski goggles or sunglasses

For the Children’s Club:
  • A change of clothes
  • Winter boots for outdoor activities

Don’t forget the sunscreen!
When should I arrive?
Please arrive at the meeting point at least five minutes before the start of the lesson. This gives us the opportunity to welcome you and ensures there is enough time for the lesson to start smoothly and on time.
