Map of the resort
Morzine, in the heart of the Portes du Soleil
The resort is the starting point for two ski areas: Morzine–Les Gets and Super Morzine–Avoriaz. Both are part of the vast Portes du Soleil ski domain, an ideal area to discover two countries, two cultures, and wide open spaces with exceptional views.

Tips & recommendations
To ensure your children are placed in the best conditions, please remember to:
- Gather the necessary information from our reception staff, activity leaders or instructors on site and on our website before arrival.
- Equip your child properly: ski jacket, helmet, mittens, goggles, sunscreen, tissues.
- Helmet use is strongly recommended for children on the slopes, and mandatory for certain levels (competition, freestyle).
- Wrist guards are also recommended for snowboard students.
- Avoid following lessons or calling out to your child during class.
- Leave it to the instructors to decide on any level changes.
- Your child is on holiday—the goal is enjoyment, so respect their pace and avoid pushing them too quickly.
- Respect lesson times and meeting points carefully.
- Encourage your child to ask for a toilet break if needed.
- Do not misrepresent your child’s age.

Make sure you’re covered
To make the most of your holiday!
To make the most of your holiday, we strongly advise checking your insurance coverage before departure, as skiing is not risk-free.
esf Morzine holds professional liability insurance, which covers damage caused to a third party while under the instructor’s supervision. However, it does not cover personal costs such as rescue services, medical expenses, lost or stolen equipment, unused lift passes, etc.

Please note: this insurance does not cover the following costs, which esf Morzine customers may have to pay out of their own pocket in the event of an accident: rescue costs, medical expenses, damage to or theft of skis, the cost of unused ski lift tickets, etc.
We therefore recommend ensuring you are properly covered or taking out suitable insurance to enjoy your stay with peace of mind.
We also recommend taking out cancellation insurance when booking online, as you may not be covered in case of injury or trip cancellation.

Snowrisk Insurance
To be covered in case of an accident on the slopes, esf Morzine strongly recommends the Snowrisk insurance, available in all Portes du Soleil resorts.
Available at lift pass offices and ESF offices, Snowrisk provides essential insurance and assistance for worry-free skiing.
