Is the lift pass included in the lesson price?
No, the lift pass is not included in the lesson price and is required to access the ski lifts. Please make sure you have a valid lift pass before the start of your lessons.

Is insurance included in the lesson price?
No, insurance is not included in the lesson price, and ESF does not provide insurance cover for its pupils. We recommend checking your personal insurance coverage and, if necessary, taking out ski insurance so that you can enjoy your stay with complete peace of mind.

Does my child need any specific protective equipment for snowboarding?
  • Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended.
  • For beginners, wrist guards are also recommended to help prevent injuries while learning.
I've never skied before. Can I still sign up for snowboard lessons?
Yes! Skiing and snowboarding are two completely different disciplines, so no previous skiing experience is required to start learning snowboarding.
What equipment do I need for this snowboard lesson?
Please bring your own snowboard equipment, making sure it is suitable and properly adjusted for your level and size.

You should also wear warm, weather-appropriate clothing to ensure you stay comfortable throughout the lesson.
Snowboard course in Morzine: from beginners to advanced
In the Aulps Valley, ski lessons aren’t the only activities on offer. With esf Morzine, adults can also try their hand at snowboarding thanks to the expert coaching of snowboard instructors. Whatever your level (beginner, intermediate or advanced), every snowboarder is guaranteed tuition tailored to their needs in a friendly atmosphere in the heart of the Portes du Soleil.

What types of snowboarding lessons are available at esf Morzine, depending on the level?

Whilst it is possible to try your hand at snowboarding in small groups with private lessons, group lessons for adults will allow you to improve in a friendly atmosphere alongside other learners of the same level.

Whether you’re a beginner, looking to improve or refine your technique, the Morzine ski and snowboard school tailors its snowboard lessons to suit all levels and needs. This means that riders from beginner level right up to Snow 3 can choose the snowboard course that suits them best, enabling them to progress safely and build confidence on the slopes.

Snowboard lessons for adults in Morzine: age requirements, timetables and booking

Within the ski area, adult snowboard lessons are available to learners aged 18 or over, whether or not they have previously snowboarded or skied. esf Morzine and its french and english speaking instructors offer several time slots to suit your holiday plans:

  • The ‘5 morning lessons’ package: beginner to Snow 3 from 9.00 am to 11.00 am; beginner to Snow 2 from 9.15 am to 11.45 am; Snow 3 from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm;
  • The ‘5 lessons’ ‘late morning’ package: beginner course, from 11.15 am to 1.15 pm.

Snowboard lessons for adults take place from Monday to Friday, with the meeting point at the top of the Pleney cable car. You can easily book online: select your lesson, enter your holiday dates, then confirm your booking in just a few clicks.
