If I drop my child off at the Piou Piou Club, how will they get to their lesson meeting point?
Our instructors and activity leaders will prepare the children and accompany them to the start of their lessons.

Mountain hiking boots are the best option for this activity, as they provide good support, comfort and grip.
Snow boots are also suitable, although they may be slightly less comfortable for longer walks.
Quelle différence entre le classique et le skating ?
Cross-country skiing can be practised using two different techniques:
Classic Technique: this style is practised on prepared parallel tracks. The movement is similar to walking, with an alternating stride. Natural and easy to learn, it is the ideal technique for beginners, children and anyone new to cross-country skiing.
Skating technique: this style is practised on a groomed trail without tracks. The skis form a “V” shape and the movement is similar to ice skating. More dynamic and physically demanding, skating requires greater balance, coordination and technique. It is generally better suited to experienced skiers or those with a good level of fitness.
Spring Skiing
What is spring snow?
The temperature variations typical of spring change the nature of the snow compared to winter conditions. As the day progresses, the sun softens the upper layer of the snow, making it more forgiving and enjoyable to ski on. This softer snow is particularly appreciated by beginner skiers, as it provides a more comfortable and confidence-inspiring experience on the slopes.
So, if you're looking for the best spring snow conditions, there's no need to rush onto the slopes first thing in the morning! For early risers, however, we recommend ensuring your ski edges are well sharpened and maintaining good balance and control, as morning conditions can sometimes be icy.
Is it still possible to ski in March and April?
Yes, absolutely! Skiing is still possible in March and April, as many resorts, including Morzine and Avoriaz, remain open well into the spring season.
At this time of year, snow coverage is generally still excellent at altitudes between 1,000 and 2,000 metres, allowing skiers of all abilities to continue enjoying the slopes for several more weeks. Spring skiing also offers longer days, milder temperatures and a relaxed atmosphere, making it a great time to experience the mountains.
How should I dress for spring skiing in Morzine?
In addition to bringing the appropriate ski equipment (skis, helmet, ski boots, etc.), it is important to choose the right clothing for spring conditions. While the milder temperatures mean you won't need to wrap up as much as in mid-winter, it is still essential to protect yourself from changing mountain weather.
A lightweight three-layer clothing system is ideal, allowing you to stay comfortable throughout the day while adapting to temperature changes.
Don't forget your sun protection either. Sunscreen, sunglasses and a cap will help protect you from the sun's rays, both on and off the slopes.
Summer activities
Should I provide a packed lunch?

What should my child wear for the activities?
Your child should be equipped with:
Suitable sports clothing
A cap
A backpack containing their packed lunch, water bottle and sunscreen!
Is a water competency certificate required for water activities?
For water-based activities, a water competency certificate is required at the time of registration. This certificate confirms that the child is able to swim and can safely cope with being submerged in water.
How many children are there in each group?
We welcome:
One group of 8 children aged 6 to 8
One group of 8 children aged 9 to 13
Is it recommended to book in advance?
